...ask our Father to connect us with people who are "sufficiently spiritually dissatisfied" (sufficiently simply means enough to do something about it). Ask God increase your longing for Him and His kingdom.
...ask God to comfort members of our East Price Hill Rec Center community who are suffering heartache and loss. Pray for the people in your network or neighborhood who are grieving.
...ask God to protect, provide for, and delight over the leaders of McCook Christian Church
as they disciple young leaders. Pray over the 20-somethings in your life.
Here are a couple of passages of Scripture that are reminding us this week of what our primary job is: to pursue Jesus. We want to be a people who are in an all out pursuit of our King.
But seek first his kingdomand his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow wearyand lose heart.
